Effective date: 23 October 2026
Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to the mobile apps published by Codebuster Apps and to the website www.codebusterapps.com. Please read them carefully. By downloading, installing, or using any of our apps, or by using our website, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Services.
1. Who we are
“Codebuster Apps”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Codebuster Apps, operated by Ihsan Ullah, the developer of the apps listed on www.codebusterapps.com and on our App Store developer page. You can contact us at codebuster2021@gmail.com.
2. The apps these Terms cover
These Terms apply to all of our apps for iPhone and iPad, including:
- productivity tools, such as Handwriting Font Maker, Clipboard Manager – QuickPaste and SnapScan;
- career tools, such as Cover Letter AI & Resume Maker and CV Creator;
- utilities, such as NumPad Pro, TCL TV Remote, ONN TV Remote Control and Data Protector – File Vault;
- lifestyle apps, such as Tasbih Counter;
- games, such as Pipe Match;
- and any app we publish in the future.
Some apps may show additional terms inside the app or on their own website. If they do, those terms apply to that app together with these Terms.
3. Who can use the Services
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required to use online services without parental consent where you live, to use the Services. If you are under 18, you should review these Terms with a parent or guardian. Some apps may carry a higher age rating on the App Store, and that rating applies.
4. Your licence to use our apps
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use our apps on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. You may not:
- copy, modify, sell, rent, lend or redistribute our apps;
- reverse engineer, decompile or try to extract the source code of our apps, except where the law allows this;
- remove or change any copyright, trademark or other notices;
- use our apps to build a competing product; or
- use our apps in any way that breaks the law or these Terms.
The apps are licensed to you, not sold. We keep all rights not expressly granted to you.
5. Purchases, subscriptions and free trials
Many of our apps are free to download. Some offer optional in-app purchases, such as removing ads or unlocking premium features, and some may offer subscriptions.
Payment. All purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple Account. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country.
Subscriptions. Where an app offers a subscription, it renews automatically at the end of each period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your device’s Settings under your Apple Account › Subscriptions.
Free trials. If a free trial is offered, any unused part of the trial ends when you buy a subscription. If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts, and you are charged.
Refunds. Because Apple handles billing, refund requests must be made to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds directly.
Restoring purchases. Non-consumable purchases and active subscriptions can usually be restored on another device signed in with the same Apple Account by using “Restore Purchases” in the app.
6. Advertising
Some of our free apps display ads provided by third-party advertising partners. These partners may use your device’s advertising identifier to show and measure ads, as described in each app’s App Store privacy details and in our Privacy Policy. On iPhone and iPad, you can control tracking in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. Where available, buying an ad-free upgrade removes ads in that app.
7. AI features
Some apps, such as Cover Letter AI & Resume Maker, include features that generate text using artificial intelligence. When you use these features:
- the text you enter may be sent to a third-party AI service provider to produce the result;
- AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable, so you are responsible for reviewing and editing it before you use it, for example in a job application;
- you should not enter sensitive personal information (such as ID numbers, passwords or health details) into AI features; and
- you must not use AI features to create content that is unlawful, misleading, harmful or that infringes anyone else’s rights.
We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will be unique, error-free or suitable for any particular purpose.
8. Your content and files
Some apps let you create or store your own content, such as scanned documents, PDFs, fonts made from your handwriting, copied text, resumes, cover letters and files kept in a vault. You keep ownership of your content. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use any content you add to the apps.
Unless an app clearly says otherwise, your content is stored on your device, and you are responsible for keeping your own backups. Your content may be lost permanently, and we may not be able to recover it, if you:
- delete an app;
- reset your device; or
- forget a password or passcode you set inside an app (for example in Data Protector – File Vault).
9. TV remote apps and other brands
Our TV remote apps (such as TCL TV Remote and ONN TV Remote Control) are independent products. Codebuster Apps is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by TCL, Onn, Walmart, Roku, Google or any other TV or platform maker. All brand names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to describe compatibility.
Compatibility depends on your TV model, its software version, its settings and your network. We cannot guarantee that a remote app will work with every TV, and a TV maker may change its software in a way that affects how our apps work. Our remote apps are meant as a convenient alternative to your original remote, not as a replacement for safety-critical controls.
10. Acceptable use
When using the Services, you agree not to:
- break any law or anyone else’s rights;
- upload or store content that is illegal, or that you don’t have the right to use;
- try to access, interfere with or disrupt our apps, website, servers or other users;
- use bots, scrapers or automated tools on our Services without permission;
- misuse in-app purchases, for example through fraud or chargebacks you are not entitled to; or
- use the Services to harass, abuse or harm anyone.
11. Third-party services and links
Our apps and website may use or link to services run by others, such as the Apple App Store, advertising partners, AI providers and analytics tools. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.
12. Intellectual property
Our apps, website, designs, text, graphics, logos and the Codebuster Apps name belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use them without our written permission, except as these Terms allow.
13. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the Services. By using the Services, you also accept the Privacy Policy.
14. Updates and changes to the Services
We may update, change or stop offering any app or feature at any time, for example to fix bugs, add features or meet legal or platform requirements. Some updates may be required to keep using an app. We are not obliged to keep any app available on the App Store.
15. Disclaimer
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we make no promises that:
- the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure;
- the Services will be compatible with every device, TV or network; or
- any results, including scans, conversions, counts and AI-generated text, will be accurate.
Nothing in these Terms removes any rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Codebuster Apps will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for any loss of data, files, profits or opportunities, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us for the app or in-app purchase concerned in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 10 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud.
17. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Services at any time by deleting our apps. We may suspend or end your access to the Services if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, or if we have to do so for legal reasons. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as intellectual property, disclaimers and limitation of liability) continue to apply after termination.
18. Apple App Store terms
If you downloaded an app from the Apple App Store, you and we agree that:
- these Terms are between you and Codebuster Apps only, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the apps or their content;
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the apps;
- if an app fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent allowed by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the apps;
- Apple is not responsible for handling any claims relating to the apps, including product liability claims, claims that an app fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection claims;
- Apple is not responsible for investigating or defending any claim that an app infringes someone else’s intellectual property rights;
- you confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties; and
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. For important changes, we may also let you know in the app or on our website. If you keep using the Services after the new Terms take effect, you accept them.
20. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of Pakistan, unless the consumer laws of the country where you live give you the right to bring a claim there.
21. General
If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don’t enforce a right straight away, we don’t give it up. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer ours as part of a sale or reorganisation of our business. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Services.
22. Contact us
